About Jeremiah, Founding Leader & CEO
An Indiana University alumnus with degrees in telecommunications and kinesiology, Jeremiah Shirk’s career as a sought-after director and strategist took root via college basketball, having been privileged to learn the art of coaching from renowned basketball coach Bob Knight.
Shirk initially honed his talent for exceptional event coordination and motivational leadership over six years while serving as a basketball coach for Lambuth University, Indiana University, and USA Basketball. His successes eventually earned him the role of Chief of Staff for the Indianapolis Department of Public Works.
As Chief of Staff, Shirk found unique and innovative ways to improve residents’ lives in spite of historic adverse weather events, a precarious budget, and large-scale reorganizations of major government agencies. Influential projects included the establishment of an electric car initiative, and a citywide Day of Service.
Since then, Shirk has enjoyed leading a number of prominent organizations through the process of coordinating and executing high-profile events and initiatives. Most notably, he has fulfilled roles as Director of Transportation for the 2016 Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio, and as Director of Operations for the 58th Presidential Inaugural Committee.
Jeremiah established Showpiece Solutions in response to the increasing demand for more dependable, skillful, and enthusiastic project managers and leaders, as well as to support the growth of influential organizations and initiatives with modern solutions to their most challenging problems.
