World Sports Park
The Problem: Indianapolis wanted a world-class, fully certified cricket facility—a facility that would eventually be one of only two certified cricket facilities in North America. However, among a number of other daunting challenges, the team in charge of planning the structure lacked knowledge of the sport.
The Solution: We implemented an educational plan that equipped the team with a totally comprehensive grasp of the sport—then we provided expert direction and delegation leading to the establishment of a robust facility capable of handling regular, high-impact games of cricket, lacrosse, soccer, and field hockey year-round, in spite of the regularly harsh climate conditions of the midwest. By investing in this area, the city can now compete in the Midwest for higher-caliber events, and parks systems’ recreation offerings are vastly improved.
